MakeMyHTML is designed to respect your privacy by default. The short version: your data never leaves your browser, we don't require an account, and we collect minimal anonymous usage statistics.

1. Your uploaded or pasted data

All data processing happens entirely in your browser. When you upload or paste data, it is parsed and displayed locally on your device. Your data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored remotely, and never shared with any third party.

If you choose to use the "Store session data in browser" feature, your data is saved to your browser's localStorage on your own device only. Clearing your browser storage removes it completely.

2. Analytics

We use a privacy-friendly web analytics service to understand how the tool is used. It operates completely without cookies, never tracks individuals across sessions or websites, and anonymizes IP addresses at the point of collection.

3. Cookies

MakeMyHTML does not use tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for the optional session feature described above, which you control entirely and can clear at any time through your browser settings.

4. No account required

MakeMyHTML requires no registration and collects no personal information such as name, email address, or payment details. You can use the tool completely anonymously.

5. Hosting and Infrastructure

MakeMyHTML is hosted on infrastructure located entirely within the European Union. To deliver the website and its elements to your browser, our hosting provider must temporarily process your IP address. This is a strict technical necessity for transmitting content over the Internet.

6. Your Data Rights

Because we never collect, store, or transmit your CSV data or any personal information, we do not hold any data we can modify or delete upon request. You are in total control. Any session data you choose to save remains exclusively on your device, and you can wipe it instantly at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
