Terms of Service

By using MakeMyHTML ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are written in plain language intentionally — no legal tricks, no hidden clauses.

1. What MakeMyHTML is

MakeMyHTML is a free, browser-based tool that converts CSV data into HTML tables and charts. The Service is made available at www.makemyhtml.com/app.

2. Using the Service

You may use MakeMyHTML for personal, commercial, or educational purposes at no charge. No account or registration is required. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you process using the Service complies with applicable laws, including data protection laws that may apply to the data you handle.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the availability of the Service for other users
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Norwegian or international law

3. Your content and data

All CSV data you upload or paste into MakeMyHTML is processed entirely within your browser. It is never transmitted to our servers. You retain full ownership of your data at all times. We make no claim to any content you create, upload, or generate using the Service.

The HTML output generated by MakeMyHTML is yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes. There is no requirement to attribute MakeMyHTML.

4. No warranties

MakeMyHTML is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time
• The output will meet your specific requirements or be compatible with your CMS
• Any defects or errors will be corrected

You use the Service at your own risk. This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MakeMyHTML and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Business interruption
• Damage arising from your reliance on output generated by the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the Service is currently free, this amount is zero.

6. Third-party content and links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external sites. Links do not constitute an endorsement.

7. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may introduce new features, change existing features, or introduce pricing for previously free features. We will aim to provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

9. Intellectual property

The MakeMyHTML application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by its operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the application itself without permission. This does not restrict your use of the HTML output you generate.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
